1. What Crewbase is

Crewbase is a marketplace that connects guests (workers, contractors, and companies looking for accommodation) with hosts (property owners who list their places). We provide the site — the actual accommodation agreement is between the guest and the host.

2. Using the site

By using Crewbase, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account
  • Keep your login details secure
  • Not use the site for anything illegal or harmful
  • Treat other users with respect
  • Not create fake listings, reviews, or accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Crewbase.

3. For guests

When you book a property:

  • You agree to pay the full amount shown at the time of booking
  • You agree to the host's house rules and cancellation policy
  • You're responsible for leaving the property in a reasonable state
  • Any damage should be reported and resolved with the host through Crewbase

4. For hosts

When you list a property:

  • You must have the legal right to rent the property
  • Your listing must be accurate — photos, descriptions, amenities, and pricing
  • You must honour confirmed bookings
  • You're responsible for complying with local laws, regulations, and tax obligations
  • You must ensure the property meets basic safety standards (smoke detectors, etc.)

5. Payments

All payments are processed through Crewbase using secure payment providers. Guests pay at the time of booking. Hosts receive payment after guest check-in.

Every booking generates an automatic invoice with a unique reference number for accounting purposes.

6. Cancellations

You may cancel free of charge up to 7 days before check-in and receive a full refund. After that point, the refund depends on the listing's cancellation policy, which is shown before you book: either non-refundable, or 50% refunded. If a host cancels, the guest always receives a full refund.

7. Reviews

Only guests who've completed a stay can leave a review. Reviews must be honest and based on your actual experience. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are fake, abusive, or violate these terms.

8. Our role

Crewbase is a marketplace. We connect guests and hosts but we're not a party to the accommodation agreement between them. We don't own, manage, or control any of the properties listed.

We do our best to verify listings and maintain quality, but we can't guarantee every detail of every property.

9. Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create fake listings, leave fraudulent reviews, or behave in a way that harms other users or the platform.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know by email or through the website. Continued use of Crewbase after changes means you accept the updated terms.
